Porterville chamber Spring Festival
Once known as the Iris Festival, the Spring Festival is one of the Chamber's biggest community events! With over 100+ vendors, live performances happening throughout the day, and much more happening, this is the family event of the year that you don't want to miss out on! There's always something for everyone to enjoy, and the general event is free to attend! Shop from the various vendors attending, and grab a bite too! If you're looking for a taste of Porterville, this event, taking place in the downtown area is the perfect fit for you and the whole family!

CAR EXHIBIT
The 2025 Spring Festival Car Exhibit was sponsored by HAVEN! This past year we had the exciting participation of the Porterville United, a collective made up of 20 local car clubs. We appreciate everyone's participation and you can check out roster featuring Porterville United members that participated in the Car Exhibit.

Taco Frenzy!: Taco Eating Contest
Looking for new experiences? Join one of our own latest Spring Festival additions: the Taco Frenzy! This taco eating contest will have contestants facing off a 10 minute mark to see who can eat the most tacos. Contestant spots are limited. 2025's food was sponsored by J & R Meat Company and Papas the Loaded Baked Potato! Please check back in 2026 for registration information.


LIve entertainment
Enjoy live entertainment throughout the day with performances from some of our dedicated community members. Come out and enjoy performances from local student groups. 2025's entertainment sponsor was Tule River Economic Development Corporation!

Spring festival 2025
The Spring Festival with the inaugural Taco Frenzy! This year's Car Exhibit was sponsored by HAVEN with a great line-up of vehicles from the Porterville United. EECU returned as the Kids Zone sponsor and was among a great line-up of kid-friendly booths. Tule River Economic Development Corporation sponsored the entertainment this year as well, featuring our own Porterville Unified School District's All District Mariachi Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Young, and the Ozomatli Folkloric Dancers under the direction of Mr. Mendoza.
Spring festival 2024
The 23rd Spring Festival hosted up to 119 vendors with lots family friendly activity happening throughout the day! EECU Sponsored the Kids Zone, Sierra View Medical Center sponsored the Car Exhibit, and Tule River Economic Development Corporation sponsored the live entertainment! The Chili Cook off also returned with INSURICA as its lead sponsor! This magazine features an article about the Spring Festival's kick-off mixer with David Horowitz, the band "Purple Pops," and the latest performing group to join us, the "Ozomatli Folkloric Dancers."
