A Porterville Community staple event, the Children's Christmas Parade brings thousands of people out in the evening for a grand show of delight featuring children, for the many families and community members of our local area. Each year we make great memories with all who participate and make this event come to life! There's opportunities to participate for fun, promote your business, and join in the spirit of the holiday season.

Children's Christmas parade 2024
The 2024 Children's Christmas Parade will be happening Thursday, December 5th, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Get ready to razzle & dazzle the evening with this year's "Razzle Dazzle Christmas" theme! If you've ever wondered if something might be too much, or perhaps too bright, this is the perfect theme to bring those thoughts back into action because this theme is all about being over the top!
Event Cycle:
September:
- Entry registrations are released on September 3rd
November:
- Deadline for all entry registrations: Friday, November 15th, 4 p.m.
- Entries will stop being accepted by this date unless all 80 are reached before the deadline, then we will stop accepting applications sooner. All entries are accepted in a first-come, first-served basis.
December:
- Visit our website on December 3rd, 4 p.m. for line-up results!
- Event takes place on December 5th, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Registration forms
Registrations begin in September and will close on November, Friday 15 at 4 p.m. If we meet our entry limit, we will have to close down registrations sooner.
