Jessica Buchanan - S.T.O.P. Alarm
Jessica Buchanan is a proud native of Porterville and currently serves as the President and co-owner of S.T.O.P. Alarm. Inc. Despite living in many parts of California and different states, she has always felt most at home in Porterville. She is a graduate of Granite Hills High School and Porterville College. Jessica is also a proud graduate of the Leadership Porterville Class of 2012.
Jessica's journey with S.T.O.P. Alarm, Inc. is a testament to her dedication and hard work. Joining the company in 2005 as a part-time dispatcher, she swiftly rose through the ranks, assuming the role of office manager due to her exceptional abilities and commitment. In 2021, Jessica ascended to the position of President, where she continues to steer the company towards greater success, leveraging her experience, strategic vision, and passion for a safe community.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jessica's heart lies with her family. Married to her high school sweetheart, James, the couple is set to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they have nurtured a loving family, with two children. Their son, Michael, is currently attending Porterville College. Their daughter, Princess, is set to graduate from Monache this year and is training to be a dispatcher with S.T.O.P. Alarm.
Despite her busy schedule, Jessica finds solace and joy in spending quality time with her loved ones as well as pampering her beloved French Bulldogs. She also adores her role as an auntie to numerous nieces and nephews. Whether it’s engaging in family activities, curling up with a good book, or unleashing her creativity through cooking, crafting, and painting, she cherishes every moment that she gets to bring love and light to others.
Beyond her personal interests, Jessica is deeply invested in her community. She actively supports local businesses and initiatives, recognizing the importance of giving back and fostering a strong sense of community pride.
